The green of Rednipp's hair seemed to deepen as her blue energy boiled with her cry, making it defy gravity.
What devouring ? What opportunity to climb higher? The only thing that mattered now was the life she was about to fight cling onto.
Rednipp didn't care as the boiling energy made the deeply frozen parts of her body crumble. She didn't have the time to care about losing half a breast or exposing her teeth after losing her right cheek. The frozen crystals were sent flying as Estrella appeared in front of her. The displaced wind was still wondering about where to go and how to react when Estrella… changed her direction.
Estrella had been poised to land the decisive blow either to kill or incapacitate, but she never forgot she was fighting an alien. She was fighting someone biologically different from humans, especially with the exposed large mouth Rednipp had at her midriff.
