Darkness, such a primordial thing. It could be light or heavy, depending on the circumstances. It could come before the light or after it, there again correlating to the surrounding circumstances. And even then, light was also a concept, maybe physical, maybe not, which would need a whole different debate to expound about. But none of that was truly important here. What was, was that Lucas had found himself in the dark when he had closed his eyes. And more than that, the darkness he had found himself in had been twofold.
The physical darkness had come from closing his eyes, the sense that used the light to identify the world. The darkness had been physical, and heavy.
