In a straight line from the camp to the other side of the Path, the assault troops arrived at their destination after a journey at hypersonic speed.
The camp was big, not smaller than the forward base that had been destroyed by the incursion team. It was full of aliens too, seemingly from the same race as the occupants of the previous base from their chalk white skin.
But this time, the camp managed to react, either because of a more alert mentality, because they had been prepared since their side lost a camp, or because of how noticeable the aircrafts were in the empty sky.
Still, with the speed of the latter, chaos was just starting when they arrived close to camp. And only three aliens managed to react, their appearance in the sky with no footing indicating something about their level.
This time, it was three males, with one holding a large square shield, another two hammer, and the third one with gauntlets on his hands.
