Hannah, in another room full of tech guys was looking at what was happening in the virtual conference room. Her lips were a little pursed as she watched the people around the world move as Estrella had predicted. And she knew that the latter was about to get what she wanted.
Estrella didn't reply immediately. Her sight moved away from the screen before coming back, as she said in a light voice:
"We don't know what that thing is. But we know that if the surviving invaders don't die inside, they might come back later fully rested, and maybe stronger. Don't forget that not just anyone can survive the explosion the fleet went through, even if only for the few seconds needed to find the silver lining. I doubt any of you would want aliens of that caliber landing in your countries. If that was the case, I can call back the forces of New City, and bring our vanguard away from the danger of exploring the way."
