When Estrella arrived at the delivery room, Hannah seemed to have found a crutch for her foggy mind.
With the baby in hand, and the gradually cold body of the mother at the side, the only ones more lost than her were the doctors that had only helped with the delivery process and bathed the baby before turning into irrelevant background characters who could have lost their lives at any moment in the following events.
Faced with Hannah's eyes that found their sparks back, Estrella's expression softened slightly.
She looked at the sleeping baby, before turning her head toward the bed.
After a moment of silence, she looked at Hannah:
"Next time, don't stop him."
The latter lowered her head in guilt. She understood Estrella was talking about the man she saved. She thought she was doing what was the best.
