In the evening, Lucas and Christina sat in a dim environment where the darkness was kept at bay by the light from candles. On the table between them, were two glasses. The one in front of Lucas contained red wine, while the one in front of Christina contained orange juice.
From the window beside them, they had a view of the lights of the city, along with the dark sky overhead.
Lucas took a measured sip of the liquid in his glass. He rarely drank, preferring non-alcoholic drinks, but some occasions did call for exceptions.
Looking at Christina and her stomach, he asked with a smile:
"How did you find the greenest place in the city?"
Christina placed one hand on her stomach, as if to feel closer to her child, before answering:
"It made me feel what university romance would have been like."
Lucas could only laugh at the answer.
