Along the way, after watching Rice marvel at the greenery around, Alex started introducing the place to him. Pointing at a different path they crossed, he spoke:
"If you go in that direction, you will reach the building where the classrooms are."
Rice took a look, trying to spot the building in the distance, but failed. Alex said with a laugh:
"Don't bother, it is quite far. Frankly, this place is too big. But that must be one of the advantages of the desert, land is cheap. And with the trees, don't expect to have a clear view on any place unless you are near or above the ground."
Rice nodded.
"The classrooms are for the normal courses, aren't they?"
"Yes, mostly."
Hearing that, Rice lamented:
"It must really be tiring to combine the extraordinary course with the normal one."
After all, the same fate was waiting for him.
