As Hannah opened the door and went inside, she saw Lucas at the side. He was looking at Christina inside the chamber, the blue tint of the water around her faint, indicating that they were trying to keep the pressure on her moderate.
Hannah could endure that level of pressure too, but she was not able to absorb as much energy as the pregnant woman could in the same lapse of time.
According to analysis, there were two reasons for that. Her build, that seemed full of untapped potential, only below Lucas and Estrella. If what Lucas speculated was right, they were only lacking some foundation in energy to claim their rightful place on a higher stratum on the evolution ladder. So they should encounter less difficulty till then, if any at all.
The second reason seemed related to her state. She was not eating for one person only, and this made her absorb energy at a higher rate.
