What Lucas said when he broke the silence made the woman pout.
"Are you still holding a grudge?"
"I'm not that petty."
"As long as you yourself believe that."
Lucas ignored the jab and stayed silent, which made Christina sigh after a while, and come back to sit beside him.
"You are more handsome than eleven years ago."
"Maybe. My girlfriend never brought that up."
"You don't need to build a wall. She was the one who let me take care of your hair. You can understand that however you want."
Silence took its throne back, and they watched the sky start getting dotted with new sources of brightness, while the city had already pushed away the darkness, to not have the latter bother the nighttime activities.
