After passing through the gate, the astonishment of the crowd at the greenery around only grew stronger. Without prior knowledge, no one would think that they were in the middle of the desert.
There were trees, lawns, gardens and so on. Only sources of water were lacking, maybe a silent reminder of the place the city the campus belonged to had been built.
They walked inside, guided to a wide field which took a while to reach. And despite that, the buildings were still just a sight in the distance. That went to show how the campus could better be called a small city.
In the following period, they were made to wait for a few hours in silence, feeling like convicts under the pressure of the dull gazes of the guards. So, the only thing they could do was look at each other, at the campus, or at the tables installed at the front.
