Today, New City was lively. At least a part of it was.
Different from a year ago, it was bigger, with more infrastructures having been added to it. But that was not the reason for the liveliness. Unlike before when only the employees of New Era and their families had been the inhabitants of the city, an influx of people was being welcomed.
The airport of the city was crowded, with most of the ones leaving the planes that had been scheduled to arrive around the same time being young, their age either in the early twenties, or younger. What they also had in common was their figures that seemed to lack fat. They would have been the envy of the athletes of the previous era. Some were burly, others were lean, but whether men or women, they all had that young vitality in their eyes, mixed with determination.
