Lucas started, and Estrella was indeed surprised by the pain that welcomed Lucas and his following misfortune. The worst was that if not for that situation, with his strength he could have had the initiative about how his stay in that part of the universe should have gone.
At least, though unexpected, the good that came out of the loss Lucas suffered seemed to have resolved the trouble that made him leave Earth in the first place. As he had said, he had jumped onto the chessboard, and worse yet, he had had a big stone with him, so it hadn't been difficult to flip it. Only, it had been an ordeal with struggles, pain and decisions. And the return had been a little time consuming.
