Some time later, Lucas was taken out of his cell. Through the haze of pain and weakness, he felt himself covering some distance before being thrown into a new room.
But soon, he felt the room move, making the thoughts of it being a vehicle compartment pop out of his muddled mind.
This time, after much longer, the movement stopped and the compartment door was thrown open. But unlike his expectations, he wasn't blinded by light. Instead, it was the noise that he had been away from for an unknown amount of time that made his head pound.
He was taken out of what he felt might have been a vehicle of this civilization and moved through a crowd of figures he couldn't focus enough to identify or observe.
Despite the snippets of information he was getting through his eyes, his ears and his nose, his brain was not in the right state to decipher them.
