Suddenly, Lucas made a comment that chased away any solemn feeling:
"With everyone attuned to fire, it's like all of them can be forgers. No wonder they could build something like this with the things salvaged from the calamity."
Estrella turned around, speechless:
"Stop thinking about asinine things. Have you thought about how to go inside?"
"Yes, but first, let's take care of the arrangements to be made."
They left the hole and went back to the camp where they sat down. Lucas started:
"I think we can keep our workers since we plan to build a whole city. They are free and we are helping people by recycling them, so no need to do away with them. We can even try to find the rest of their kind on our land and around it."
Estrella gave him a side eye, but she also agreed as it would help them work fast while minimizing the cost:
