In Mexico, in a villa in the city of Tampico, Lucas and Estrella were lounging outside after having left the place for more than a month. They were in no formal clothes, just like a normal well off couple on vacation. Even the former had none of the anger he had shown previously.
The latter looked at him then calmly asked:
"Can you tell me about our uninvited guest from last time now?"
Lucas opened his previously closed eyes and looked at the blue sky with its sparse clouds:
"It was an old man I met when I woke up in the desert. He was nothing good, wanting to deceive or manipulate me. What he managed to do however, is force me to be a pawn of his."
He indifferently recounted everything that happened, from their first meeting to the conversation they had had less than a day ago on the other side of the border. He added nothing and gave only the facts, till the death of the man from outside the planet.
