When Lucas first opened his eyes, what he felt at the moment was pain. Following that, the sensation of weakness pervading his whole being welcomed him.
He blinked a few times to acclimate himself to the light in the room he woke up to find himself in, then slowly looked around.
It was a simple room, not luxurious but spacious and looking comfortable with all the necessary furniture present. The windows were wide to allow air to circulate healthily and they were opened to fulfill their role, with white curtains stopping the majority of the light from the big fire ball from getting inside and disturbing him.
The theme of the room itself was white, though the one who took care of decorating it had been kind enough to not make it piercing. Even the bed he was on was not outside of the theme, and it was wide enough for three people to comfortably use. But that comfort was lost to him as he couldn't enjoy its softness with his senses seeming to have dulled.
