Emmy moves his eyes through all the displayed events with a keen interest, he's currently watching the Dungeons Crawl events, it's been more than two hours and it doesn't look like any of the events will end soon, Knowledge Exchange is still going on with the organizers giving them another set of questions, the students have taken more than three breaks now.
Emmy found Dungeons Crawl to be the most interesting event, about seven teams have already found a treasure and have gone out of the pod but not unscathed, they all lost one or two members of their team and more than five teams have been eliminated. The eliminated teams have all encountered all kinds of creature that led to their elimination, some of them have put on a great fight killing different creatures but each of their victory against these creatures always come with a loss from them by losing their teammates.
One unfortunate team have even encountered a very large werewolf - like - creature that annihilate the whole team with a swipe of its hand.
Martial Art is also going on brutally, everyone is doing their best to not get eliminated, they used everything in their disposal. Some of them are fighting in groups while some are fighting individually, those who are fighting individually have either lost many of their teammates or they're facing another team and defeating them one by one, Lindsay Academy are also fighting in group with their teamwork as perfect as ever, Emmy watches as three people rain an attack on one person and defeated him in less than a minute.
They're doing this to protect one another and to not make another team do what they're doing to others to them, Alice moves flawlessly with her icy sword leaving a trail of blood where it moves to. Lindsey Academy are still holding in all the five events and their teamwork in Martial Art make them have their complete member.
It's been more than two hours since it all started but it all look like it started five minutes ago, although there was thirty minutes break given to them in this two hours, 15 minutes in each hour but still, there should have been more progress.
Emmy suspected that this will push till the end of the day and will continue tomorrow including other events like Dungeons Crawl.
Six matches have already ended in football and another three is taking place at the moment, there was only one draw in the last six matches signalling that four teams have been eliminated and two have qualify.
Lindsay have been doing well in other events so Emmy hoped that they don't draw nor lose their match.
The events continue with more teams getting eliminated, it's been six hours since it started and more than half of the participating schools have been eliminated, the organizers of the Knowledge Exchange event are already calling the end result, meaning that the teams with their score below average are getting eliminated, Lindsay Academy have been called among the qualified schools and they've also qualified in the Dungeons Crawl event with only two of their members getting eliminated, now it's only Martial Art and Football they have left.
They haven't been paired in football so they just watch as others play but they're really doing well in Martial Art, it even seem as if they're dominating the arena as none of their teammates have been eliminated, although, there are other two teams who still have their complete members but Lindsay team seem to be keeping up and maintaining composure than the other two.
All of a sudden, different ability shot towards them from all direction, ice spears, earth pillars, electric bolt, lighting and some other abilities were all shot at them at the same time. Quickly reacting to the assault, a very large blue dome encased them and all the attack bounce off it.
Looking around, they noticed that other students have stopped fighting, staying in place and there are about twenty students coming towards them, the twenty students are the other two complete teams, they realized this after seeing their dress.
They all had their weapons pointed at them.
"Team Lindsay, surrender now or you'll all get injured and regret it."
A very muscular blonde boy said with a large sword in his hand.
"I think the other two teams decided to join hands to eliminate you guys."
A boy who had been caught in the assault with his other two teammates while fighting Lindsay Team, said as he got up with the other two members of his team, they have been holding up against three members of Lindsay Team before the attack came and thus, they were also protected by the dome.
The ten members of Lindsay team stare at them calmly as different attacks continue hitting the dome and it seems it won't hold much longer.
"I know you guys don't need our help but let's fight them together, there are only three of us left in our team, and if we can't qualify to the next round let's at least help you guys get rid of these bugs."
The boy said again but none of them said anything, the dome collapsed into a rain of dust and the students charge towards them.
"These idiots, they decided to group up against one team, forgetting that only ten people are needed on the arena."
Sunny commented.
"It seems they found out that they're the most troublesome team with their perfect teamwork but they'll soon regret it."
Emmy replied.
"Huh really? You don't even know the others capabilities."
The girl sitting besides Sunny all this time said, not moving her head.
Alice was the first to charge forward and the other two girls in their team move behind her, swinging her sword dangerously, a dull wall of ice projectiles shot out with a blinding speed and hit all the attacks shattering everything into pieces, the projectile hit about 5 students who were standing still on the arena and send them out, at the same time, the other members of Lindsay charged forward and clash with the twenty students.
"Your girlfriend is so powerful."
Sunny said as Emmy who didn't even hear him stare at the arena in awe.
One of the four class 3 students faced the muscular boy who seem to be the leader of the team, their fight didn't last long as three strings shot out of the boy's large sword and pin Lindsay team member down before he was thrown out of the arena, the boy moves onto the next target and did the same thing and then the third target until the boy who had claimed to help them intercepted him.
Alice and the other two girls fight together and at the same time, keeping an eye on the muscular boy, he seem to be a threat to them, he had eliminated three of them in a matter of minutes but the other boy is still keeping him at bay.
A few minutes later, the other boy started losing as the string were getting into his body and weakening him down. Alice glanced at the two girls and said.
"Now!!!"
The two girls held onto each other as their body started glowing blue while at the same time, Alice produce the same wall of ice projectile which then move towards the girls but instead of hitting them, it phased through their body and took the blue glow with it as the girls fell on their knees, the ice wall exploded with the blue glow shinning on it, it spread all over the arena and hit all the students, sending them out while weakening some of them, the remaining two members of Lindsay team on the field quickly bend down as the assault move above their head.
The ice hit the muscular boy sipping energy out of his body and quickly fell on his knees but he didn't dare to pass out, the boy he was fighting was already lying down so the effect didn't get to him. In a matter of seconds, the arena have been cleared of students, only a few of them still remain and among those few, only those who were not hit are still conscious, others have lost their energy and were now unconscious.
The blue glow has an energy drain effect and every single one of them were lying down, some unconscious while some were still conscious.
Alice and the girls have been careful enough to not cause severe damage with their attack, it's also among the rules not to use an attack that will lead to others death or leave them in a terrible situation.
"If no one get up at the count of 10 means elimination for you all."
The organizer said.
Seven people rose to their feet at the same time, five of them from Lindsay academy, Alice and the two girls and the other boys from class 3, the boy who had promised to fight for them is also among those who rose and a very dark skinned boy from an unknown team.
The others are not getting up but as the organizer made his count to 8,the large muscular boy slowly rise up as he grits his teeth.
"That bastard is still conscious."
The delicate girl sitting besides Sunny said with a disgusting look. The two bored guys have already grew accustomed to the comments she threw at the fighters.
The organizer stopped his count on ten and only eight students got up with five among them from Lindsay Academy.
