Realizing the futility of his resistance against the combined might of two green dragons, Caesar attempted to flee. However, his escape was thwarted by a weakened magical array that slowed his flight. Bruce from an hour later exploited this, slipping through space with a time acceleration effect to intercept the dragon.
As Caesar roared and charged, he collided with what he thought was Bruce, only to stagger through the illusion and crash into the ridge. The real Bruce materialized behind him, swiftly reaching out with his dragon claws to tear a chunk of flesh from Caesar's wounded back, savoring it triumphantly.
Just as Caesar spun around in rage to retaliate, he was struck on the back of the neck by the earlier Bruce, sending him sprawling once again.
