The elder dragon killed another giant using the previous tactic. But it took too much time just to kill another giant. With so many of them here, winning is difficult.
It took a lot of time and effort just to lure a giant to fight one on one against the elder dragon. This is not good enough.
And I can't use the previous strategy as the one in Japan. Because the giants are more organized than before. They split into groups and each group focus on one dragon without caring about the others and they also made sure to keep the dragons as far away as possible from each other.
