"A football match?!" Iris and Daniel exclaimed almost in unison.
Thomas responded with a hearty laugh, "Yes, a football match. Tonight is the final, and our football genius, Theo Kilias, will be playing and he's the captain tonight!"
At the mention of Theo's name, a look of hesitation crossed Daniel's face, but Thomas offered another reason he couldn't refuse.
Thomas patted Daniel on the shoulder and added in a low voice, "Theo is also a symbol of France. The other investor we're meeting tomorrow is a huge football fan and he's a fan of Theo as well. If you can talk to him about tonight's game and give him a signature of Theo, it might make our dealings much smoother."
"No problem then, I'll be there on time!" Hearing Thomas' words, Daniel had no excuse to deny, so he agreed without hesitation.
