"Ouch!" Megan was startled by Theo's sudden move and let out a yelp, wrapping her arms around his neck.
Theo looked up at Megan with a gentle expression, repeating, "I'll carry you up, don't cause any more harm."
Megan's face turned pink with shyness, she leaned in close to Theo's ear, whispering, "Thank you. I'll make it up to you with anything you want." She then playfully brushed her lips against his ear.
Theo's body stiffened, his ears turning red.
The scene was noticed by Iris and others, Antony seemed indifferent, but Julie and Arron were grinning, Iris' expression was calm, but her eyes darted away, revealing her unease.
"Move aside! What are you blocking the door for?" A middle-aged man burst out of the elevator, grumbling at the crowd gathered at the elevator door. The atmosphere eased as people dispersed.
