Sunlight filtered through the sparse clouds, illuminating the graffiti-covered little house. Not far from the blue expanse of the sea could be seen, the scene unfolded in front of them was a picture of tranquility.
Daniel casually nodded towards the cottage, "Here we are."
Iris stepped out of the car and stretched, facing the sea. The warm afternoon sun and the sea breeze caressed her cheeks, bringing the salty scent of the ocean.
Watching Iris relax herself, Daniel smiled without saying a word, and started fumbling for keys in his pocket as he walked towards the cottage's door. Iris, catching up with quick steps, couldn't help to hide her curiosity but ask, "Where is this?"
Daniel glanced back at Iris with a light chuckle, not answering right away as he searched for the right key. Finally finding it, he inserted it into the lock, turning it while casually saying, "This is where I grew up."
