"Mrs. Kilias?" Iris unconsciously repeated Antony's words. The lady stood up with a smile and approached Iris. "So you're Iris. I'm Judy Kilias, Theo's mother. It's very nice to meet you," she said, holding out her hand.
"Oh hello! Nice to meet you too!Do you know me?" Iris replied hurriedly, reaching out to shake Judy's hand. She couldn't help but wonder if Theo's mother had a negative impression of her, given the recent Lucas incident that had been making headlines. It was hard not to know the name Iris Watson, and this lady standing before her was Theo's mother.
Iris silently lamented that perhaps the woman had a poor perception of her, thinking that she had dragged her son into the scandal.
"Theo mentioned you to me," Judy said, sensing the image that had formed in Iris's mind and swiftly avoiding it.
