Chapter 112 - Chapter 112: Shisui's Amazing Strength

As Mutsuki walked, he introduced the level of Group A students.

"The students in Group A had already completed basic Chakra control training within the first two weeks of the special training. During this period, the focus was mainly on enhancing Chakra control abilities, learning the Body Flicker Jutsu, strengthening Taijutsu skills, and Ninjutsu proficiency."

"Group A is the fastest progressing group, and its students are the strongest among all the groups. The composition mainly consists of fourth-grade students and graduating Genin, followed by third-grade and first-grade talented students."

"First-grade students? How could first-grade students reach such a level?" one sensei couldn't help but ask.

With Chakra control abilities like tree climbing and water walking, as well as mastery of the Body Flicker Jutsu, they are considered strong among Genin. How could students at the first-grade level achieve such proficiency?

"Is that first-grade student Uchiha Shisui from your class, Yumi-sensei? If it's him, then it's possible," Ueda Aya asked.

Apart from Shisui, Ueda Aya couldn't think of anyone in the first grade who could have such ability.

Mutsuki nodded.

Although Shisui's reputation as a genius at the Academy was not small, there were still Chunin sensei who thought it impossible for a first-grade student to reach such a level.

Let alone being the top of the first grade, they believed that even the top of the second grade could not have such proficiency.

It was only because Mutsuki was well-liked and had a good reputation that some sensei might not maliciously speculate whether Mutsuki favored Shisui and used privileges to directly transfer him to Group A.

Sarutobi Hiruzen just smiled and didn't say anything.

He didn't know the extent of Shisui's current strength, but based on Shisui's previous battle against Asuma, it was enough to qualify for Group A.

"Number seventeen, Uchiha Shisui, versus number eighteen, Raido Namiashi, prepare to fight."

Mutsuki and the others arrived just in time, catching Shisui's battle.

"Ah, it's Raido. I taught him before he graduated; he was quite an excellent student," the sensei who previously thought it impossible for a first-grade student to reach Group A level said with a smile.

He was happy for his former student; opportunities to showcase one's abilities in front of the Hokage were rare.

He knew Raido Namiashi's strength; he wasn't weak during his time at school, and now, after graduation and spending some time in training, facing a first-grade student wouldn't be easy.

Raido Namiashi had no idea that his former sensei was already celebrating before the match even began. Upon hearing his opponent's name, he felt a wave of anxiety.

There was no doubt; he was going to be eliminated this time. Raido Namiashi had no confidence in defeating Shisui.

Of course, Raido Namiashi didn't give up directly; if he had to lose, he at least wanted to lose with some dignity.

Taking a deep breath, Raido Namiashi walked confidently onto the battlefield and exchanged the Seal of Confrontation with Shisui.

Knowing the outcome in advance, all he had to do now was to exert his best efforts and showcase his true strength.

"Look at Raido's calm expression; it seems he's very confident about this battle," the Chunin sensei observed Raido Namiashi, feeling proud that he had taught such a student.

The nearby sensei nodded in agreement.

In fact, most of the sensei believed in Mutsuki's words and his character, thinking that Shisui could reach Group A level. However, they didn't believe Shisui could defeat Raido Namiashi.

One was a first-grade student who had just completed a semester, while the other was a Genin who had graduated for some time, also undergoing special training. No matter how you looked at it, it seemed Raido Namiashi would win.

Not to mention Shisui; even if Kakashi had just finished a semester, they still believed Raido Namiashi would emerge victorious.

Mutsuki smiled gently, saying nothing. He didn't need to say much; once Shisui showcased his strength, it would speak for itself.

Sarutobi Hiruzen stroked his beard, smiling as he watched the battlefield. He was a bit curious about what expressions the sensei would have when they saw Raido Namiashi lose later.

"The battle begins!" Mutsuki shouted.

Whoosh!

As Mutsuki's voice fell, Raido Namiashi immediately used the Body Flicker Jutsu to charge forward, wielding a kunai aimed at Shisui.

He knew Shisui's strength well and saw no need for probing, so he went all out from the start.

"This kid Raido has a flaw; he doesn't know how to hold back when attacking, and he hasn't changed that yet," remarked the Chunin sensei as he shook his head, seeing Raido Namiashi charging at Shisui with the Body Flicker Jutsu and a kunai, denying Shisui a chance to show off.

But the next moment, something surprising happened. In the final instant, Uchiha Shisui's body vanished, leaving Raido Namiashi stabbing at empty air.

Raido Namiashi wasn't discouraged. If Shisui couldn't dodge, that would be a problem. Without hesitation, he flung a kunai toward his own rear.

Shisui paused his attack, slightly sidestepping to evade the incoming kunai.

"His speed is even faster than Raido's!" Raido Namiashi's sensei was somewhat dumbfounded.

Immediately after, Raido Namiashi grabbed a handful of shuriken and hurled them at Shisui. Then, swiftly forming seals, he unleashed the Clone Jutsu, creating four clones. The clones and the original all ascended the trees, exchanging places continuously.

"Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Flower Nail Crimson!" Shisui evaded the shuriken and began casting ninjutsu.

First, he spewed out a large burst of flame, then swiftly threw shuriken into the flames. The shuriken, now carrying the flames, surged toward the trees where Raido Namiashi was positioned, resembling small fireballs.

Boom! Boom!

The shuriken, ablaze with intense heat, tore large holes in the trees. Under Shisui's onslaught, the trees collapsed, and Raido Namiashi's clones dispersed. Although Raido Namiashi himself was relatively unharmed, he fell to the ground.

"Is he really just a first-grade student?" Many Chunin sensei were dumbfounded by the destructive power caused by Shisui's single Fire Release.

Forget about a first-grade student; even a graduating Genin wouldn't likely be able to execute such a Fire Release.

"Raido still has a chance; a ninja's strength isn't solely judged by ninjutsu. Taijutsu is equally important," Raido Namiashi's sensei thought for a moment, believing Raido Namiashi still had a chance to win.

This Uchiha Shisui's ninjutsu is so strong, his taijutsu definitely won't be particularly good, after all, he's still so young. It's impossible to master everything, and Raido Namiashi happens to excel in taijutsu.

Shisui didn't unleash any more ninjutsu; instead, he dashed toward the fallen Raido Namiashi.

Raido Namiashi couldn't retreat in time and had to quickly get up to engage in close combat with Shisui.

Although Raido Namiashi appeared much more muscular than Shisui, in the taijutsu confrontation, to the surprise of many Chunin sensei, he was quickly forced back by Shisui, looking completely suppressed.

Raido Namiashi's sensei rubbed his eyes, widened them, and looked back at the battlefield again. After two repeated instances, he finally confirmed that he wasn't seeing things.

"Uchiha Shisui wins." Raido Namiashi couldn't withstand Shisui's intense attacks and quickly succumbed to defeat.

The sensei fell into an extremely quiet state once again, their faces filled with disbelief.

They once doubted if this Uchiha Shisui had been practicing since birth; his strength at the first-grade level was simply too extraordinary.

"Shisui is the most diligent in my class," Mutsuki said leisurely.

While other students only started practicing all day during the special training, Shisui had been training all day in the Southern Forest for a long time. Even during the special training, after practicing during the day, he would still go to Mutsuki's place for further training at night.

"You all should learn more from Mutsuki and create some teaching miracles," Third said, looking at the shocked expressions of the many sensei with a smile.

"Number nineteen, Sarutobi Asuma, versus number twenty, Uchiha Obito, prepare to fight."
