What kind of experience is it to teach over three hundred people?
Being stared at by more than two hundred pairs of eyes, those gazes contain curiosity, anticipation, and doubt.
Mutsuki has reason to believe that for more introverted individuals, it might be difficult to speak up under the scrutiny of so many eyes.
However, Mutsuki is not an ordinary person; the more students there are, the happier and more excited he becomes.
"Hello, everyone. I am Mutsuki Yumi, the sensei in charge of this summer special training." Mutsuki gave a gentle smile and introduced himself.
Although he is somewhat famous at school, including among the classes he has substituted for, Mutsuki does not assume that everyone recognizes his face, so self-introduction is necessary.
"Yumi-sensei!" Some students who are more familiar with Mutsuki warmly greet him.
Mutsuki nodded with a smile and continued:
"I know many of you have doubts in your minds. Why organize a summer special training after the holidays, and what is the purpose of this training?"
"I can make it clear to everyone here that this training has only one purpose: to enhance the strength of the students participating in the training, making them more qualified Ninjas in the future!"
Mutsuki refrained from expressing harsh words, such as preparing for a potential war crisis.
After all, a full-scale war has not officially broken out, and even the Konoha Ninjas who are highly alert to potential threats are unlikely to think that Konoha would gradually become a war center, surrounded by the four major ninja villages.
"As for the form of the special training, it can't be the same for us Genin and students. The strength of official Ninjas and students is not on the same level," Raido Namiashi asked.
He is Asuma's teammate, brought in by Asuma.
Raido Namiashi felt like he had been deceived; how could a Chunin sensei be as formidable as Asuma had boasted.
"I have made arrangements for this, but don't underestimate the students from the Academy," Mutsuki responded to Raido Namiashi's question, calling Shisui out.
"His name is Uchiha Shisui, a student in the class I teach, currently in the first grade. You can spar with him to gauge the level of an Academy student," Mutsuki said with a smile.
Mutsuki had anticipated that something like this might happen.
Genin, having experienced more encounters with Ninjas and received guidance from Jonin, would approach Academy students and a Chunin sensei differently.
In the ninja world, strength is revered, so Mutsuki's solution was straightforward. If you think Academy students are not up to par, then come and have a match with him to see if you can win.
Watching Shisui calmly walk out, Asuma couldn't control the twitching of his eyelids. He recalled the scene from two months ago when he was defeated.
That scene was something he might never forget—being defeated by a student who had just entered the first grade, despite being a graduating Genin.
"Raido, I absolutely can't stand it, it's just a first-grade student," Asuma quietly said to Raido Namiashi.
He couldn't wait to see Raido Namiashi's expression of disbelief after being defeated. This kind of pain couldn't be endured by him alone.
"This might not be right; after all, he's just a first-grade student," Kurenai said softly, feeling that it was somewhat unethical.
"Then, as a graduating Senpai, I'll see if the level of the Academy students has declined," Raido Namiashi walked out.
Mutsuki calling forth a fourth-grade student would have been acceptable, but summoning a first-grade student made Raido Namiashi feel underestimated. Coupled with Asuma's incitement, he couldn't hold back.
The students all stepped back, creating enough space for the two to fight.
"If you can't handle it, just admit defeat. If you accidentally get hurt, don't blame me," Raido Namiashi warned as he took a Kunai from his ninja tool pouch.
"Thank you for the reminder, Senpai. I won't push myself too hard," Shisui politely thanked and responded.
Seeing that Shisui showed respect to his Senpai, Raido Namiashi decided to make Shisui's defeat look a bit better later on, not too brutal.
Obito had already covered his face, unable to bear watching the upcoming brutal scene.
He knew Raido Namiashi and understood his strength. Raido Namiashi might even be beatable for Obito in his current state, let alone being a match for Shisui.
This battle was a one-sided affair, but the one getting defeated wasn't first-year Shisui; it was the already graduated Raido Namiashi.
"Go, Shisui! Defeat that guy who looks down on current students," Anko squeezed to the front to watch, cheering Shisui on.
Hagane Kotetsu and Kamizuki Izumo also joined Anko at the front to support Shisui.
"Uchiha Shisui, isn't he the super genius from the first grade? I heard he scored full marks in all subjects," a fourth-grade student exclaimed, having heard of Shisui's genius reputation.
"No matter how much of a genius he is, it's impossible for a first-year to defeat a fully-fledged Genin, right?"
Although the students were all hoping for Shisui to win, most didn't have high expectations for him because a first-year student defeating a fully-fledged Genin was simply too extraordinary.
"Begin!" Mutsuki, acting as the temporary referee, shouted after the two were ready.
"Here we go," Raido Namiashi reminded, then rushed towards Shisui, holding a Kunai.
Shisui calmly pulled a Kunai from his ninja tool pouch, and a direct collision with Raido Namiashi began.
The constant clashing sounds of Kunai echoed, with Shisui effortlessly blocking Raido Namiashi's attacks, no matter how intense.
Raido Namiashi felt something was off. This strength, speed, and reaction – is this really a first-year student?
Raido Namiashi quickly stepped back and, in a swift sequence of hand seals, performed the Clone Jutsu, creating five clones in an attempt to disrupt Shisui.
"Fire Release·Great Fireball Jutsu!" Shisui remained calm, forming hand seals in place and unleashing a Ninjutsu that produced a three-meter-high fireball.
"Which one of us is the Academy student?" Raido Namiashi, watching the massive Great Fireball approaching, then looking at his non-substantial clones beside him, experienced a mental shutdown.
Fortunately, the Great Fireball wasn't flying too fast. After Raido Namiashi realized it, he sprinted with all his might, managing to escape the attack range.
As Raido Namiashi felt relieved about avoiding the Great Fireball, a Kunai suddenly extended from behind him and reached his neck.
Sensing the cold edge of the Kunai, Raido Namiashi then realized that Shisui had unexpectedly appeared beside him without him noticing.
"I concede. I shouldn't have underestimated the Academy students" Raido Namiashi admitted his defeat, acknowledging that if Shisui were an enemy, he would already be dead.
"Senpai, thank you for your generosity," Shisui put away the Kunai and humbly expressed.
He had the capability to instantly defeat Raido Namiashi, but considering Raido Namiashi's decent performance and assuming his previous words were unintentional, Shisui didn't want to embarrass him too much, so he held back.
"He still held back. This Great Fireball isn't as powerful as the one he used against me before," Asuma thought to himself.
"Senpai, do you have some grudge against him? Why are you smiling so happily?" Hagane Kotetsu noticed someone beside him laughing joyfully. He thought it was a fellow Academy student who shared their resentment, only to discover they also had a forehead protector, leaving him puzzled.
"No, I just recalled some happy memories," Asuma denied.
