Chapter 56 - Preparing for the Hunting of Green Banana Forest

The White Shadow Giant Scale Fish, a once primary black iron spirit beast, now had Bai Zian contemplating its potential. Could it, at the peak of black iron, challenge gold-level spirit beasts? Bai Zian's mind raced with possibilities, fueled by the extraordinary skill of Big and Small Ruyi that brought unimaginable strength to the fish.

Before Ruyi's mastery, the White Shadow Giant Scale Fish struggled against intermediate silver spirit beasts, limited by its black iron status. But now, armed with Ruyi's prowess, it aspired to confront gold-level adversaries. Bai Zian's excitement soared as he envisioned facing gold-level spirit beasts in the elusive hunting ground, the Green Banana Forest.

Despite the potential dangers, Bai Zian wasn't overly concerned. Bai Zhi and Bai Shao, both formidable gold-level beastmasters, accompanied him. As long as they avoided massive beast tides, safety seemed assured. With this confidence, Bai Zian urged Bai Zhi to report to the city lord, his grandfather Bai Jingchong, seeking approval.

Days passed, and Bai Zian immersed himself in training the White Shadow Giant Scale Fish and the mutant Red-winged Crow cubs. Unexpectedly, Bai Zhi interrupted his focus.

"Master Zi'an, the city lord is back and is waiting for you in the study," she announced.

Bai Zian, surprised by his grandfather's return, wondered about the timing. Shouldn't Bai Jingchong be busy with the merging worlds and concocting special prescriptions? Curiosity piqued, Bai Zian hastened to meet his grandfather in the study.

"Xiao An, you said you were going to hunt in the Green Banana Forest? Why choose such a perilous place?" Bai Jingchong questioned upon Bai Zian's arrival.

"Grandpa, I want to challenge myself," Bai Zian declared openly, surprising Bai Jingchong with his ambition to face gold-level spirit beasts.

Though the notion of a black iron spirit beast challenging gold-level opponents left Bai Jingchong bewildered, he admired Bai Zian's audacity. Despite the potential risks, Bai Jingchong agreed, offering his support with a reminder to prioritize safety.

Encouraged, Bai Zian made a bold prediction, "Don't worry, Grandpa. Maybe, when I return, I'll have stepped into the bronze level."

Bai Jingchong, while supportive, couldn't help but smile at Bai Zian's lofty aspirations. He mentioned placing one of his powerful pet beasts, a diamond-level entity, to secretly safeguard Bai Zian during the expedition.

As the discussion unfolded, Bai Zian couldn't resist asking about the evolution plans for the Purple Thunder Eagle cub. With his [Eye of Apocalypse], Bai Zian hoped to contribute to the growth of Bai Jingchong's newest companion.

Despite Bai Jingchong's pets having evolved to their limits, Bai Zian saw an opportunity with the newly acquired Purple Thunder Eagle cub. An unexpected chance to guide its evolution and, perhaps, elevate it to new heights.

The fixed evolutionary routes and limited growth potential posed challenges for Bai Zian in assisting Bai Jingchong and Bai Chengzhi. Only with new spirit beast contracts, like Bai Jingchong's Purple Thunder Eagle cub, could Bai Zian offer significant aid. Bai Ziyu, still years away from awakening her talents, didn't require immediate consideration.

Bai Zian's ability to predict what was best for spirit beasts, even foreseeing evolution directions, became evident when he approached Bai Jingchong about the Purple Thunder Eagle cub's evolution.

"Grandpa, maybe I can help you with this matter," Bai Zian proposed, surprising Bai Jingchong.

Bai Jingchong, with raised eyebrows, questioned, "What do you mean, Xiao An? Can your talent really assist in the Purple Thunder Eagle cub's evolution?"

Bai Zian explained confidently, "My talent can give me a hunch about what's best for spirit beasts, even the direction of their evolution. Don't forget, the White Shadow Giant Scale Fish evolved using my intuition."

Bai Jingchong, though still skeptical, chose to trust Bai Zian. "Even though what you said is not without reason. However, with [Super Intuitive] talent, can you really do such a thing?"

Bai Zian assured him, "Grandpa, you forgot that the evolution of the white-scaled fish also relied on my special intuition to evolve into the white-shadowed giant fish."

Bai Jingchong, realizing Bai Zian had a point, admitted, "It seems that your talent is indeed special."

To aid the Purple Thunder Eagle cub's evolution, Bai Zian suggested collecting materials, including the electric claws of a silver-level spirit beast. Bai Jingchong, noting the requirements, nodded in understanding. "Alright, I'll prepare these materials. Let's see if your intuition proves right."

Bai Zian, relieved that Bai Jingchong trusted him, added, "Grandpa, you can collect the electric claws of the silver-level spirit beast electric claw cat, as well as some other lightning materials. According to my intuition, this may be of great benefit to Purple Thunder Eagle."

As Bai Jingchong silently wrote down the materials, Bai Zian continued, "After all these are over, I can help you with the next steps. Don't worry, Grandpa."

With their discussion concluded, Bai Zian left the study and headed to his room, thinking about the upcoming adventure in the Green Banana Forest.

"Everything is arranged properly. I can go to the hunting green banana forest to experience," Bai Zian murmured to himself, contemplating his plans.

The next morning, Bai Zian left the City Lord's Mansion, ready to head towards the train station for the Green Banana Forest. He chose not to bid farewell to his parents, knowing they would likely be upset. Instead, he had his family relay the news of his outing experience.

As he walked out of the City Lord's Mansion, Qiaogubai, a figure with a backpack, was already waiting at the gate.

"Hello, Mr. Zi'an," Qiaogubai greeted with a smile and a salute.

"Qiao Gubai, how are you preparing?" Bai Zian asked with a light smile, looking at the young woman.

"I'm ready, Lord Zi'an. No matter where you go, I will accompany you," Qiaogubai replied, showing her readiness and enthusiasm.

Bai Zian nodded in approval, "Good. Let's embark on this adventure together, Qiaogubai."
