For several days, Talon spent each morning exercising, practicing acrobatics on his own, and playing his guitar.
Occasionally, he would also check on the progress of the ship they were building to monitor the storm at the island's border, separating it from the outside world.
The ship's construction was slow due to a lack of manpower and natural resources. On top of that, none of them were experts in building such a vessel.
"How much longer until the ship is finished, John?" Talon asked.
John, the carpenter helping to design and build the ship, replied, "Given the manpower and resources we have, it should be done in about two more weeks."
"That's great, not much longer. Once it's done, we'll head straight to the storm's edge," Talon said.
After checking on the ship, Talon returned to camp. He noticed Emily and Sophia playing the lyre outside one of the tents. As he was about to approach them, Marco and Noah intercepted him.
