The rain poured down heavily, accompanied by strong gusts of wind. Claire awoke from her sleep, shivering from the cold. "Talon, I'm sorry, I must've dozed off."
Meanwhile, Cotton had already jumped off her lap. Talon shook his head. "It's alright, the rain just stopped."
Claire rubbed her arms for warmth.
"We need to head back. You're freezing, and I don't want you getting sick," Talon urged.
Claire nodded. "Yes."
But on their way back, Claire couldn't stop sneezing. "Really, it's just a little cold. Don't worry too much about me, Talon."
When they finally arrived, they encountered an unexpected scene. Due to the relentless downpour, several tents had suffered significant damage.
Their weak foundations from the start couldn't withstand the force of the storm. Some tents even had torn or collapsed roofs.
Everyone had come out after the rain subsided to assess the damage.
