Talon's two lost friends were Alex and Sara, a brother and sister. They were perched up in a tree.
"Alex, where's the wild boar?" Sara asked, her voice low.
The two of them were hiding after hearing rustling in the bushes, which they feared was a wild boar.
Having already encountered one earlier and lacking proper equipment, Alex had urged Sara to climb the tree for safety.
They waited for a while, but no sign of the wild boar appeared. Unbeknownst to them, Talon and the others were nearby, obscured by a large boulder and thick foliage.
Although Alex and Sara hadn't climbed too high, they remained hidden.
"Looks like it wasn't a wild boar after all," Alex said, relaxing a little. "Sara, I'm going down to check. You stay here."
"Are you sure?" Sara asked, hesitant.
Alex nodded confidently. But the moment his feet touched the ground, he found himself face-to-face with Tommy, who stood just a few steps away.
