"Finally…"
Kayla muttered, her voice carrying some desperation in it. Something obvious, considering everything that had happened. She looked back, seeing her group.
They all had dark expressions and their clothes looked like rags. Many of them had burns on their bodies where the holes in their clothes were, caused by the hundreds of traps they had passed through in the last few hours.
Even though they had been walking at a slow pace, the traps were too many. They increased as they advanced, to the point that every five meters there was a trap.
That was another cause of everyone's dark expressions: the great distance they had traveled. No one knew how, but they were sure they had traveled several kilometers of distance.
It was surely some kind of magic, but not even the best magician under Brice's command could figure out the mechanism behind it all.
