"When can we continue?"

Kayla asked as she looked at the corpse of the minor giant. Altarf's fist had managed to finish breaking the armor around the giant's chest with relative ease thanks to the damage Kayla had done earlier.

So the giant withstood all the power of Altarf's fist with just its body. And the result could be seen with the naked eye.

The minor giant's chest had a fist-sized hole, charred. If one did not look inside, one would most likely find equally charred organs.

That is the real reason for the death of the minor giant. That giant species was immortal, only having one weakness, the heart.

The root of the minor giants' immortality came from their blood, which allowed them to move their bodies even in the worst conditions as long as the blood continued to circulate.
