The gazes on Kayla and Ethel quickly dispersed after a cold glance from both girls. Although Kayla had felt somewhat intimidated at first since she was not used to so much attention, she quickly recovered.
She glanced around the room they had entered. The room was quite similar to a college classroom, with ascending seats so everyone could clearly see the professor lecturing.
As she looked around with a cold expression, she noticed that some people were beckoning her over.
Kayla's eyes immediately lit up.
"Guys!"
Kayla quickly took Ethel's hand and approached a large group that was in the first few seats, closest to where the professor would be speaking.
There, Altarf, Dirk, and the rest she had fought with at the top of the giant tree were waiting for them! Plus, Brice was with them!
Kayla quickly made her way over to them with Ethel in tow.
