Kayla smiled happily when she heard Hod's insult. When an enemy insults you, it's because you're doing well!
She pulled her sword out of Hod's knee and quickly backed away, dodging a kick.
"Hahaha, I guess all those muscles didn't do you much good right?"
Kayla smiled as she showed Hod her middle finger.
Hod glared at her, but he didn't have time to chase her as he was currently defending himself from a barrage of blows coming from Altarf.
Altarf's fists were fast, much faster than normal thanks to an skill of her gauntlets that increased her speed. Thanks to that and the silver aura covering her fists, she was able to push back Hod, who was having difficulty moving because of the wound on his knee.
However, Hod's body was extremely tough, so even though he received many blows, none of them caused excessive damage.
Unfortunately for Hod, Kayla returned to the fight with her sword covered in a golden aura.
