Kayla put her hand over the mouth of the golden fox statue. The inside of the mouth wasn't that big even though the mouth of the statue was quite large. Something curious considering that the temple must have been visited by several large races.
The statue began to tremble as Kayla began to remember everything she knew about affinities.
That was a subject she hadn't studied much with her grandfather Aaron, as it was quite related to magic, and in his own words, it was useless to her currently.
Something he was right about, as Kayla's current fighting style was still too immature. There are many things she still needs to learn, and the few she is learning are already enough to fill her schedule.
If on top of that, she had added learning to take advantage of her magical affinity, Kayla would probably have stagnated. Her strength wouldn't have improved much by biting off more than she could handle.
