Chapter 83 - I'm At Soup

Her eyes, which had previously been burned beyond recognition, had healed thanks to the constant influx of life force from her Phylactery, and now exuded a baleful red light that seemed to pierce the soul and allow the nightmares of reality to seep in.

The pupils had shrunk, and in this new space, three new ones appeared around them in each eye, two above and to the sides and one directly below in an inverted triangle shape.

It took but a flicker of those pupils for the shadows of the guards to suddenly break into countless pieces, something that should have been completely impossible. And once their shadows had dissipated, the guards had stiffened up like corpses, the only sign that they were still alive being the fright in their paralyzed eyes.

Two of the new pupils faded in each of Sakari's eyes, followed shortly after by the third as her pupils dilated. Once they did, her eyelids drooped and her head fell limp.
