Sakari opened her mouth, but before she could speak, the door swung open and an unfamiliar young woman with a familiar crescent on her hand strode in, a bundle of clothes in her arms.
She handed them to Sakari and bowed her head when the latter murmured words of thanks. Instead of turning to leave afterward, however, she crossed the room and leaned against the wall, her eyes locking onto Lokus as she crossed her arms.
It was only now that Lokus realized that the woman's eyes were the same ruby-red color as Sakari's. He also noted that her hair was blonde, and the moon tattoo on her forehead was a pearly white that glimmered in the torchlight.
It was clear by her light scowl and the way she stared at him like he was a demon on a weak leash that she didn't trust him. Judging by the way she shifted her crossed arms, she was also more than prepared to attack if he tried anything.
