Chapter 64 - Words and Screams

The transition was instant, but to Lokus, it felt like it lasted for an entire hour.

He felt his entire body contort and compress to the size of an atom, then expand and balloon out to his full size with such force and so abruptly that he almost felt larger.

His knees trembled queasily when he appeared atop an elaborate inscription in a damp, dark room, but he managed to rein it in and remain standing.

The room was made entirely of stone, and more than small enough for all of it to fit within his Domain, meaning the three ominous figures staring them down didn't go unnoticed. Stabilizing himself, he turned his masked face to one of them in silent curiosity.

Like Sakari, their bodies were covered in thick, hooded cloaks that obscured almost everything about them. Their hands, placed in front of them with one hand on top of the other, were covered in plated gauntlets, and the feet that poked out from under their cloaks were likewise armored.
