"No thanks." Lokus dismissed the offer out of hand. Something told him that accepting an offer from someone who showed up in the middle of the night in the plains of hell itself wasn't one to be trusted.
"Don't be so quick to decline," replied Sakari without a fluctuation in her expression. "I can make it more than worth your while. You have Foust's bloodline, do you not? The hair, the eyes, and the ice say as much."
"Why do you need to know?" Lokus questioned.
"Because I've been looking for a Blackblood with your traits for a long time."
Lokus' eyes narrowed at her choice of the word "traits." Clearly, she approached him for more than just his bloodline. "And those traits are?"
