She caught it deftly in one hand before bouncing it in her palm to gauge the weight. "What did you want to know about this special woman of yours?"
"What have you told her?"
"Her requests were rather ordinary. She mostly wanted information on the various factions around the city.
"Information such as?"
"Open secrets, horribly kept ones, uncommon knowledge. She was particularly interested in the… less-than-legal side of things."
"Tell me everything you told her."
The madam gave Ullen a sweet smile, but her eyes held nothing but a cold, calculating greed. "She's been visiting my establishment for over two months. If you want everything she knows, you'll need a lot more coin than this."
She tossed the bag behind her for emphasis, and it slammed into the armored chest of one of her guards with a loud CLANG! The man scrambled to catch the bag before it fell, and let out a relieved breath when he did.
