Chapter 4 - They were exactly how she imagined them

"You're quite scaring the lady. What if she decides to make our lives more miserable because of how you're treating her?" The man with the red hair, seated on the other single-person couch, remarked.

Hearing his words, Yijun Li, who was beside Han Xuexin, raised a brow as he looked at the other man up and down. "You don't look miserable."

Han Xuexin understood what Yijun Li meant; it was because the man with the red hair was wearing a red, white, and gold combination prince outfit. It looked gaudy but still good on him.

"I was at a feast because there was a celebration in our Kingdom. What do you expect me to wear?" Rui Jin, the man with the red hair, responded with spite.

Rui Jin, like Li Jisheng, was a prince—a haughty one at that.

His role in the novel 'Heart's Enchantment' was just to annoy the female lead, who was a servant in their palace. With his role, the male lead, his brother, was able to notice the female lead, and everything that should happen in a romance novel happened.

It was the first novel Han Xuexin had written, and out of all the eight books, 'Heart's Enchantment' is the one she hated the most because of the 'Cinderella' kind of plot.

Ming Xuan turned towards Yijun Li with a somewhat disgusted expression and stated, "You're polluting the air with your smell."

"What do you want me to do? I was sent here while I was drinking with that old man!" Yijun LI responded with gritted teeth.

Han Xuexin couldn't help but back away because her ears were ringing from his voice. "I was the one who paid for the alcohol, yet I wasn't even able to finish it all! He could have at least sent me after I've finished my fourth bottle!"

Han Xuexin felt the corner of her eye twitch.

It is only then she remembered that Yijun Li was an alcoholic.

He would drink numerous bottles of alcohol, yet the man still wouldn't be drunk.

"How about you try to remember what the old man looks like so we could understand what's happening right now?" Ming Xuan questioned, getting Han Xuexin's attention.

Because she backed away from Yijun Li, the two of them were very close. It is only then that she noticed that the man was wearing glasses, probably because of the fact that he has blurry vision. Another thing that she noticed is how beautiful his hair is. It was pure white, which somehow looks silver, and its length is below his shoulder.

Ming Xuan is very particular about being presentable and clean. You will never find the man with messy hair and crumpled clothes.

He looks more like a prince than Rui Jin does.

'I mean look at his hair, it looks more smooth and well-maintained compared to mine! And it looks silvery, how is that even possible!'

Han Xuexin couldn't help but exclaim to herself as she continued to stare at the man in front of her who was occupied talking to Yijun Li.

A thought suddenly popped into Han Xuexin's head, causing her eyes to widen.

'Is all of this a prank? Like a TV show segment since I just released a new sequel? That is possible right?'

Her eyes roamed around the living room, trying to find some hidden camera but she hadn't found any.

However, the thought that everything was just a prank didn't leave her mind as she looked at the men in front of her.

Every man in her living room was the exact embodiment of the character they portrayed in her novel.

Yijun Li had that black long hair that he always tied in a ponytail, and even the details of his scars on his left brow and right cheek were there.

Yang Zihao had brown short wavy hair, and his eyes were the perfect color of emerald green.

Anlei had blonde shoulder-length hair and ocean blue eyes. He looks like an innocent young man if it weren't for his cold demeanor, his cult-like black outfit, and his eyes, as though he would kill you with his gaze.

They were exactly how she imagined them.

Looking back at the man beside her, her left hand couldn't help but reach out and touch the white long hair in front of her.

And just like how soft it looked, it was soft to the touch also.

"What are you doing?"

Han Xuexin looked up, and it is only then that she noticed that the living room became quiet, and everyone was looking at her—or more specifically—at her hand that was combing through Ming Xuan's white hair.

"This is a wig, right?" Han Xuexin questioned and flipped all of the man's hair so she could see his nape. However, she saw no mark or sign that it was all a wig.

"Miss Snow, please remove your hand," Ming Xuan remarked with gritted teeth, waiting for the woman in front of him whose thoughts had already flown out.
