Maura was very angry and disappointed with her sister, Kila, when she learned that Kila was hoping for their father's death. Their father was seriously ill and Maura and Kila were supposed to take care of him with love and care. However, Kila revealed that she wasn't patient enough to wait for their father's death because she wanted a large inheritance.
Maura immediately felt furious and stared at Kila fiercely. "What are you talking about, Kila? Our father is still alive, and we should pray for his recovery, not hope for his death for the sake of the inheritance!" she said firmly.
Kila tried to defend herself, but Maura couldn't hold back her emotions anymore. She was extremely angry and disappointed with her sister who only had money on her mind. "You don't deserve to be called our parents' child if you only think about money. Our father loves us so much and wants to see us siblings always together. Not like you who only think about your benefit!" Maura said with a high-pitched tone and sobs.
Kila was shocked by her younger sister's words and felt upset. However, Mona immediately pinched her to make her aware that Dimas was there. Kila tried to control herself so that Dimas would no longer hate her.
Realizing Mona's signal, Kila immediately lowered her face and tried to change her expression as much as possible. "I'm sorry, Maura. I was very wrong. I was too ambitious and deluded with the desire to have it all. But now I realize how much our father loves us, and I'm willing to do anything to heal him and keep our family together," she said with a low tone full of regret.
Maura felt relieved but still hurt by her sister's earlier words. However, she was willing to give her sister a second chance to fix her mistake. "Yes, Kila, that's how it should be. I think you, as the oldest child, should be a good example for your younger siblings. You should behave in such a way, and you should keep your mouth shut. You are pregnant now, and it's not good for you to keep saying bad words like that," Dimas said while embracing Maura in front of Kila. Of course, Kila who saw that looked away.
"Can I talk to Maura alone? There's something I want to discuss with her as siblings. You won't mind, right, Dimas? Don't worry, I won't hurt this woman because she's my sister and my sister-in-law, right, Maura?" Kila asked while looking at Maura with a forced smile. Of course, Maura could only sigh heavily, even though Kila said that she wouldn't hurt her. Maura didn't believe her because she already knew who her sister was.
"Why do we have to talk alone? Why not here? There's no one else here, we're all family. There's no guarantee that you won't hurt my wife," Dimas said.
"Come on, Dimas, I'm your wife too. I want to talk to my sister. Don't make it too serious like that. Come on, Maura, let's go," without asking for Dimas's permission, Kila grabbed Maura's hand and took her to the hospital garden.
Maura pushed Kila's arm away when they arrived at the park.
"What's up? What do you want to talk about now? I can't spare more time; I have to go back inside," said Maura.
Kila smiled, folding her hands. "Why the rush? Let's discuss our future households. Oh, by the way, what is it like to marry your brother-in-law? I'm sorry that you have to fall into this trap but don't worry, I'm back, and I'll take my place. Especially now that I'm pregnant and carrying Dimas' child. He will surely accept me." Kila spoke confidently. Of course, Maura shook her head upon hearing that.
"Are you daydreaming?" asked Maura.
"Maura, I have considered this carefully. You have to leave Dimas," insisted Kila.
"I can't do that. I am Dimas's wife, and he loves me," replied Maura.
"But you know my current condition. I'm pregnant, and I'm worried that you'll be too focused on your relationship with Dimas and forget to take care of our father and our unborn child. I'll be giving the baby to you later," explained Kila.
"I can take care of myself and our father, Kila. I won't forget my responsibilities," said Maura.
"But what about our unborn child? If you get too stressed or fight with Dimas, it could affect your health," argued Kila.
"I think you're the one who's pregnant. So, it won't affect me," replied Maura.
"But this is a valuable lesson for me, Maura. I don't want you to experience the same difficulties as I did. Please consider leaving Dimas for your good and the good of our future child," Kila tried to reach out her sister's hand.
Dimas' parents finally followed him to the hospital when they found out that Wiranto was currently lying in the hospital, after all, Wiranto was his best friend Bram Dimas' father.
"Where is Dad's room? Do you know?" asked Clarissa, Dimas' mother. "Wiranto is still in the ICU. We better get there before his visiting hours are over." Clarisa nodded her head, they walked holding hands. Where was Di when they arrived in front of the ICU room? They saw their son sitting on his cell phone and beside him was Mona who had been staring at Dimas with a strange look.
"Dimas, where's Maura?" asked Clarissa while glancing at Mona sharply.
Dimas of course immediately raised his face.
"Mom, Maura was out with Kila."
"How could you let your wife go out with that woman, after all, you weren't scared since you were sitting with granny Lampir," Clarisa said and of course, made Bram and Dimas glance at each other.
"What do you mean? Why do you say things like that, you have no manners at all." Mona said as she got up.
Clarisa certainly relaxed in front of her in-laws.
"Why, what I'm saying is true, because since you've been staring at my son with that strange look, why do you regret supporting your son who ran away on their first night of marriage?" said Clarisa not to be outdone.
"Ma, don't make a scene here, we came here to visit Wiranto, not to make trouble," Bram said while putting his arm around his wife's waist, of course, Clarisa immediately exhaled harshly.
"The end of his face made me remember how he insulted our son."
