Chapter 21 - Chapter 21: The Seal Shatters

The chamber trembled violently as dark energy poured from Yameri's body. The ancient seal, once a shackle, was now nothing but fragments in the air. His breathing turned ragged, his fingers trembling as raw power surged through his veins.

Tsuki and Ikari barely had time to react before a deafening boom erupted from within him, sending shockwaves across the room. The mysterious woman standing before them smiled, a look of satisfaction gleaming in her crimson eyes.

"It is done."

Yameri staggered back, gripping his head as whispers filled his mind. The voices… they were countless, overlapping, screaming and laughing all at once. It was as if centuries of buried wrath had been unlocked in an instant. His vision blurred, the edges of the world turning black.

Tsuki rushed to his side. "Yameri! Stay with me!"

He turned to her, his irises glowing a deep, unnatural violet. The warmth in his eyes—the love she had always found in them—was flickering, as if it was being swallowed by something far more sinister.

"Tsuki…?" His voice was strained, as if he was struggling to recognize her.

Ikari clenched her fists. "We need to stop this. His body can't handle this sudden release of energy!"

The woman on the throne chuckled softly, stepping forward. "There is no stopping it. This is who he was meant to be."

Her chains, glowing with divine energy, continued to crack. The power in the room grew heavier, suffocating. Ikari felt her knees buckle beneath the pressure.

"This energy…" she gasped. "It's—"

CRACK.

The final divine chain shattered. And in that instant, everything changed.

A black aura erupted from Yameri's body, coiling around him like a living entity. The ground beneath him split apart, forming jagged crevices of abyssal darkness. The very air around him distorted, bending to his presence.

Then, he let out a scream—a raw, anguished roar that shook the entire dungeon.

The walls began to collapse.

The woman watched, unfazed, her expression that of someone witnessing destiny unfold.

"This… is the power of the Dark Heir."

Ikari tried to reach Yameri, but the moment she stepped forward, a force slammed into her, sending her crashing into a pillar.

She coughed, struggling to rise. "Damn it… Yameri, you have to fight this!"

But he wasn't responding.

His body trembled violently, his hands clawing at his chest as the darkness inside him began consuming him from within.

Tsuki, despite the sheer power pushing against her, refused to back away. She grabbed Yameri's face, forcing him to look at her.

"Listen to me!" she shouted. "You are not this monster! You're my husband—you're Yameri!"

For a moment, something flickered in his eyes. Recognition.

He opened his mouth to say something—

But the woman raised her hand.

And everything spiraled into chaos.
