Chapter 3 - Ch-3 The Mysterious Chamber - A high school boy’s room

Norman's Pov

"As I awaken, my heart racing, I attempt to take in my surroundings. Trying to orient myself, I realize that I am in a strange room unlike anything I have ever seen before. The dim light that filters through the room is unfamiliar, and the coolness of the floor beneath me is a stark contrast to the rough stones and dirt that I am accustomed to in my own world. As I sit up, I become acutely aware of my nakedness except for a strange locket around my neck. I feel exposed and vulnerable, and my instincts tell me to find clothing to cover myself. But before I can even move, my eyes scan the unfamiliar room, trying to make sense of it all.

The walls are a stark white, featureless and barren, nothing like the decorated tapestries of my castle. My eyes are then drawn to the ceiling, which is flat and unadorned, save for a strange object mounted in the center that emits a soft, steady light. I can't understand how it's possible to create light without magic. And there is this strange contraption spins overhead. I watch the blades turn effortlessly through the air, and the low hum of it fills the room. It's as if the thing is alive, and it fills me with a sense of unease. The furniture in the room is completely foreign to me. A bed that seems soft and yielding, with strange sheets and blankets that seem to cradle me. A dresser made of polished wood and some smooth unknown material with strange handles and knobs that I've never seen before. And a desk, with strange tools and implements that make no sense to me. As I look around the room, I notice other objects that only add to my confusion. A rectangular black box on a stand, with strange markings and buttons on the front. It hums softly, and I can't imagine what it could be for. There is also a glass vase filled with smooth, colorful objects that look like polished stones, but I have no idea what they are for. As I explore the room further, my eyes fall on a set of shelves against one wall. They are filled with strange objects, unlike anything I have ever seen. There are books, but they don't seem to be made of leather but a thin material bound together with covers that bear unfamiliar designs. On the wall behind the shelves, there are posters, brightly colored and filled with images that seem to jump out at me. They are unlike any tapestries or paintings I've ever seen before, and I can't help but stare in wonder. Nearby, there is a strange object that looks like a smaller version of the rectangular black box I saw earlier. But this one has a glass screen on the front, and strange markings and symbols that shift and change as I watch. The thing that made me more weird and uneasy was that I cannot feel a ounce of magic in this place.

And then I see him. A boy, standing before me, watching me with a mixture of confusion and fear etched on his face. I take a closer look at the boy. His skin is fair and white, unlike any I've ever seen. I look at his clothing, still confused by the strange style. The fabric is thin and lightweight, unlike the heavy materials we use in my world. It clings to his skin in a way that seems almost indecent to me, revealing more of his body than I'm used to seeing. The colors are bright and vibrant, unlike the earthy tones of the clothes we wear in my world.

He wears a short-sleeved garment that reveals his arms. And I can say the same for his short thigh length pants. They are too short to be called as pants for the fabric of is thin, almost like a second skin, leaving little to the imagination something that would be impractical for a warrior like myself. It's a style I've never seen before, and I can't help but feel uneasy about it. I can't help but wonder what kind of culture allows such a thing. His hair is another thing that catches my attention. It's styled in a way that I've never seen before. It's short on the sides, but long and combed over on top, creating a sort of spiky crown. I'm not sure what to make of it.

As I study him, I am unable to sense any magical energy emanating from him. It appears as though he is a regular human, devoid of any magical powers or abilities. This only adds to my confusion and unease. My thoughts wander back to the recent war I fought against the demon lord and how I found myself here, stripped of my sword and armor, and my magical powers appearing to have significantly diminished. I cannot rid myself of the notion that this may all be a ploy, a cruel deception devised to ensnare me in the clutches of the demon lord. I begin to harbor suspicions about the boy standing before me, wondering if he might be a minion of the demons, garbed in unfamiliar attire to deceive me.

In a gruff tone, I inquire "What do you want from me, demon?" not wishing to display any weakness in front of him.
