The next morning, Li Xiyi woke up early. She knocked on Lu Qingyi's door, but received no response. She called out several times, but still, there was no reply.
Lu Qingyi's sleep was never deep, and she often woke up early. Even if she hadn't gotten up yet, Lu Qingyi should have been awake by now.
