Li Mingxun stepped out of the bathtub, put on his bathrobe, picked up his cell phone, and walked out of the bathroom door.
Having spoken with the two kids, he was now in an extremely good mood.

He opened his wardrobe, pretending to rummage for clothes while secretly scanning the room with his peripheral vision. He noticed a slight movement from the curtains.
Could the person be hiding behind the curtains?
Li Mingxun made a swift decision, picked up a chair, and smashed it toward the curtains. A man in black grunted and jumped out from behind.
"Speak! Who sent you?"
Li Mingxun quickly grabbed the fruit knife on the coffee table and held it against the intruder's neck.
The man in black responded quickly. With a forceful block, he freed himself from Li Mingxun and jumped to a safe distance.
"Someone paid me to kill you."
