Bai Xiaolian headed towards the bar exit, her sharp eyes catching sight of Quan Zehao stepping out of his car and walking towards the bar. Hastily, she darted behind a pillar for cover.
Luckily, the lighting in the bar was dim, cloaking her in a shadow behind the pillar, and making it difficult for anyone to recognize her unless they took a careful look.
Xiaopang saw Quan Zehao entering the bar, while Bai Xiaolian still hid behind the pillar. He quickly laughed and greeted Quan Zehao to distract him, "Mr. Quan, you are here again."
"Where is Bai Xiaolian? Tell her she doesn't need to hide."
Quan Zehao's back was facing the bar entrance and he failed to notice Bai Xiaolian quietly slipping away.
"Mr. Quan, Xiaolian didn't come to work today."
Xiaopang opened up the bar counter, "If you don't believe me, you can look for yourself."
Quan Zehao glanced at Xiaopang and walked inside the bar, looking all around at potential hiding spots. He did not find Bai Xiaolian.
