What's going on?
While they hadn't noticed him, he stealthily reached for the button, but his action was caught by Li Susu, leading Qi Sheng to reluctantly step out of the elevator.
"Miss Li is here, huh?"
Li Susu replied with a radiant smile, "Sichen is not around. You've been working hard, Qi. Here's a jar of chicken soup for you."
Without warning, she pushed the jar into his hand, and turned to step into the still-open elevator.
He wanted to refuse, but she had already taken the elevator down.
He felt like he was holding a 'hot potato', and a very hot one at that.
"Sheng, the Vice President, would you like to drink this?"
She had no interest in anything from Li Susu!
Sheng Lanxin didn't even bother glancing at him and arrogantly stepped into another elevator.
Having learned his lesson from last time, Qi Sheng decided to 'cover his tracks' swiftly.
As long as he drank the soup, Huo Sichen would never find out about it.
