Meng Yanxi and Zheng Heng both watched Jiang Tan walk away.
Meng Yanxi withdrew his gaze, with a teasing tone, he looked towards Zhou Yinghuai, "So this is your little girlfriend?"
"When did she become a girlfriend?" Zheng Heng clicked his tongue lightly, out of goodwill, as a brother, he reminded, "Some people, if you really take them to heart, it can be troublesome once you become attached."
"What's so troublesome about that?" Zhou Yinghuai's tone was faint, "Isn't it just about supporting a young girl? Can't afford to now?"
"It's not about affording the support, what I fear is that you'll treat her too well."
The words 'too well' were stressed.
Zhou Yinghuai just looked in the direction Jiang Tan had left, his voice still consistently calm, indifferent, "Even if that's the case, so what?"
He seemed to care, but his tone was too casual and arbitrary, as if it was just an offhand remark.
Meng Yanxi and Zheng Heng exchanged looks, and didn't ask any further.
