"I didn't see the presence of Lord Arnold. Have some of you seen him?" asked Caspian.
That afternoon, Caspian and the rest of the Lorelei family gathered in the castle hall, along with other court officials. Among them all, only Arnold was absent, even though he was usually never absent from any meeting that Caspian held.
"I have no idea, Father. He didn't say anything about leaving," Sera explained.
"This is really strange. Did any of you see him leave?" asked Caspian; none of the castle officials knew where Arnold had gone.
"Alright. We'd better start without Arnold. We'll tell him after this meeting is over," explained Caspian; they all nodded in agreement.
They began the important meeting that day to discuss the essential measures they had to take when winter came. The first snow in Avolire had fallen, and they had to immediately think of ways to survive the winter.
