A black raven arrived from the south at Calden Castle's mail station. A postal officer took out the letter and saw the seal stamp on the letter scroll, Mathilde's seal stamp.
"Give this to Lady Arabelle," the officer ordered one of the soldiers; the castle soldier said yes and received the letter scroll.
He stepped away from the mail station to enter the castle. That morning, Lady Arabelle was holding a meeting with Sir Dorren and all the castle officials, discussing food supplies for the winter.
"The alliance with Archibald is quite beneficial to us, My Lady. In addition to the trade that went well, we also gained valuable information about how they survived during the winter," Dorren explained.
